These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the provision of holiday lighting services by Light It Up LLC (“Light It Up,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) to residential and commercial clients (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”). By booking services with us, signing an agreement, or receiving SMS/text updates, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services Provided

Light It Up LLC provides the following services:

Professional lighting installation
In-season maintenance
Post-season removal
Off-season storage
All lighting and related materials are leased to the Customer for the duration of the service period and remain the property of Light It Up LLC.

2. Equipment Leasing

All lighting, mounting hardware, extension cords, controllers, and accessories installed by Light It Up LLC are leased and must not be removed, altered, or relocated by the Customer or any third party. Unauthorized tampering or damage may result in additional fees.

3. Deposits and Payment Terms

A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total quoted service fee is required to secure booking.
Remaining payment is due according to the terms stated in the service agreement or invoice.
Failure to complete payment by the due date may result in cancellation of services or removal of leased equipment.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

Full refunds are available if no work has begun and no custom materials have been ordered.
If custom materials have been ordered, a restocking fee may apply.
Once installation or preparatory work has begun, deposits may be retained to cover labor or materials.

5. Customer Responsibilities

The Customer agrees to:

Provide safe and reasonable access to property for installation, maintenance, and removal
Ensure power outlets are functional and accessible
Notify Light It Up promptly of any damage or malfunction
Not operate, adjust, or modify leased lighting equipment without authorization

6. Maintenance

Light It Up LLC will perform reasonable in-season maintenance on leased equipment. Customers must report any outages or issues promptly.

7. Removal and Storage

All lighting will be removed by Light It Up LLC after the agreed service period and stored by us for future use unless otherwise stated.

8. Liability and Indemnification

Light It Up LLC is not responsible for damage resulting from pre-existing structural conditions, wiring issues, adverse weather, or Customer negligence.
The Customer agrees to indemnify and hold Light It Up LLC harmless from claims arising from unauthorized tampering or unsafe use of leased equipment.

9. Property Access

The Customer authorizes Light It Up LLC personnel to access the property at scheduled times for installation, maintenance, and removal activities. Reasonable notice will be provided.

10. SMS/Text Communication Terms

By providing your phone number, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages regarding scheduling, installation, maintenance updates, and removal notifications.

11. Changes to Terms
